Environmental Services Week

Environmental Services Week is September 8 – 14, 2024

The Environmental Service (EVS) team at The Manor, The Villa and The Lodge are often “unsung heroes” who work diligently every day to ensure our Homes are clean, safe places for the Elders, their families, and staff members. The EVS teams include Housekeeping, Laundry, and Maintenance.

Here are some fun facts about some of the work done in the Homes by our Environmental Services teams:
☆ Housekeepers at The Lodge clean approximately 84 toilets daily.
☆ The Villa completes an average of 84 commercial washing machine loads of laundry weekly.
☆ Maintenance staff at The Manor handle approximately 175 maintenance repairs or requests per month.

With all the challenges and changes the last few years have brought, our Environmental Service teams have continued to remain resilient, and their efforts have not gone unnoticed!

September 8th-14th is recognized Nationally as Environmental Services Week. Please join us in recognizing the Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laundry team members in our Homes for the amazing job they do each and every day!
