Why County of Lambton?
Our commitment is to work together to support you. You’ll have access to the Day Program Staff, providing individualized program plans in consultation with each participant’s family as well as therapeutic recreation in a supervised environment. We can also link you to various community partners who can help.
What we can offer.
We offer an Adult Day Program at three sites, one in Petrolia, Sarnia and Forest. In our home-like environment you can engage in therapeutic recreational activities, improve physical and cognitive abilities and enjoy meaningful, social recreation activities throughout the day. A nutritious meal and refreshments are offered with each visit. Equally as vital, the program offers companionship, respect and stimulation for participants, while also providing respite and support to caregivers.
Who can participate?
Anyone over the age of 18.
The program can accommodate members who require:
- Assistance due to cognitive and/or physical impairments
- Special diets
- Meal assistance
- Medication reminders
- Assistance with personal care

How Much?
For a nominal fee of $15.00/day all program supplies are included as well as a hot meal and additional refreshments.
Although we don’t provide transportation, we’ll gladly provide you with a list of resources.
Hair Salon and therapeutic bathing (Sarnia site only) are also available at a modest fee.
Subsidies are available.
