Meet Sandra “Sandy” Hitchen

In celebration of Seniors Month, the Manor would like to feature Sandra “Sandy” from the Manor. Sandy is very involved at the Manor, and you can often find her helping others in the home and participating in activities. Sandy will say hello and share a smile with everyone she meets. When there is music, you will find her dancing with other Elders or sing to them, which brings big smiles to their faces. Sandy will encourage others to engage in activities around the home. She has taken on a leadership role at the Manor by being the Residents’ Council Chair.

Sandy is an exceptional artist who fell in love with art when she was only 4 years old, after she was introduced to freestyle drawing. Sandy was a graphic artist, and she continues to be active in the arts. She has designed and created beautiful Christmas cards that have been sent out at Christmas by the Homes.
